This minimalist grey-toned fence is the perfect complement to a modern home. But style isn’t everything—functional features like a designated waste bin area and an automatic sliding gate make everyday life more convenient. With its solid form, the fence offers full privacy for the residents in the garden. After all, everyone needs a bit of peace and quiet from time to time!
The entrance gate and pedestrian gate from the Arete Pure system are mounted on Rockina Cubero posts. They are finished with smooth aluminum sheet in the same grey tone as the fence panels. To the right of the gate is a multifunction panel featuring a video intercom, mailbox, and illuminated house number. The sliding gate is equipped with a fast automation system and signal lighting.
The fence was built using horizontal spans from the Horizon Massive system in grey. The wide aluminum profiles were installed without gaps, providing privacy for the residents by shielding them from the view of passersby on the street. To avoid monotony, the longer spans are separated by Rockina Cubero posts finished with graphite-colored quartz sinter.
Unsightly meter boxes, commonly found on most properties, are the bane of many designers. In this project, they have been skillfully integrated into the fence line so they blend in seamlessly. The boxes are concealed behind aluminum sheet doors, painted in the same color as the bay elements, gate, and pedestrian gate. Subtle, laser-cut markings make it easy to identify each meter.
Another common issue on many properties is the placement of waste bins. To hide them, a utility area was created as a visual extension of the fence. The bins can be accessed through two independent gates—from the street side or the garden.
Meter Box Doors
The meter boxes are seamlessly integrated into the fence and protected by a metal door painted in the same color as the other aluminum elements of the fence. Laser-cut markings allow for quick and easy identification of the correct meter.
Arete Pure Gate
The Arete Pure gate is clad in smooth aluminum sheet, painted light grey to match the fence elements. Instead of a traditional handle, a wide stainless steel handrail was used. The gate’s hinges are concealed with vertical side covers.
Multifunction Post
The multifunction post, finished with grey sheet metal, is based on the Rockina Cubero structure. It features a video intercom, an illuminated house number, and a pass-through mailbox that allows convenient mail retrieval from the garden side.
Rockina Cubero Posts
Rockina Cubero posts separate the fence spans in longer sections and frame both the gate and the pedestrian gate. They are finished with graphite-colored quartz sinter, visually echoing the color of the house's roof.
Arete Pure Sliding Gate
The Arete Pure sliding gate is clad in grey aluminum sheet. It features a fast automation system and signal lighting, enhancing safety when entering or leaving the property.
Waste Bin Enclosure
The waste bin area was separated within the side section of the fence, forming a visual extension of the overall design. It is accessible through two independent gates—from the property side and from the street.
